WA: Police chasing gang rapists
Perth police are chasing four men after a woman was gang raped at Shoalwater beachnear Rockingham last weekend.
They say the 36-year-old woman was offered a ride home by four men in their 20s shortlybefore one am last Sunday morning.
Police say she had been at the Swinging Pig Hotel in Rockingham and then at Waves nightclubat Shoalwater when she was offered a lift back to her car.
Instead, police say, she was driven to the beach and then raped by the four men.
Police say they are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen the men's yellow Datsunwhile it was parked opposite Pengo's Cafe in Arcadia Drive, Shoalwater or from anyonewho knows a man aged in his 20s with access to a yellow Datsun.
Two of the assailants are described as Caucasian males, one 1.8 metres tall and theother 1.6 metres tall.
One is described as being Italian, 1.7 metres tall and of medium build.
Another is described as being of Arab/Middle-Eastern appearance and of medium build.
